Job Detail:
The Islamabad office of United Nations Office of Project Services (UNOPS) is the Local Fund Agent (LFA) for The Global Fund (GFATM in Pakistan). UNOPS urgently requires the services of an experienced and qualified Finance Officer who meets the following requirements:

1. At least CA Finalist / ACCA / ACMA with over 10 years of work experience. This should include 4 years of article ship / internship with one of the Big Four Chartered Accountant Firms in Pakistan.

2. Must have demonstrated, in-depth work experience in the field of Financial Management, Accounting and Internal Control Systems, preferably including development sector NGOs / INGOs/ MDBs.

3. Should have excellent analytical and computer skills (particularly MS Excel, MS Word and preferably other Accounting software), as well as strong communication skills with fluency in written English.

4. The Officer must be a team player, flexible, well organized and an Efficient time manager.

Travel within Pakistan will be required. Initial contract will be for one year extendable by another year based on performance. Market based competitive compensation will be offered.
