Chemonics International seeks a project manager for the ongoing USAID-funded Competitiveness Enhancement and Enterprise Development II project in Moldova. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. Responsibilities include: Lead project activities aimed at increasing competitiveness and revenues in foreign and local markets; Attract investment and analyze economic trends in the Moldovan footwear industry; Interface and foster enduring relationships with various industry actors that drive industry competitiveness. QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced degree in industrial engineering, economics, business, marketing, or in a related discipline. Minimum three years of professional experience in the footwear industry or related fields. Project management experience strongly preferred. Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various industry actors. Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity. Fluency in English, Romanian, and Russian strongly preferred.
