Chemonics International is seeking a full-time project manager for the ongoing USAID Competitiveness Enhancement and Enterprise Development II project in Moldova. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. Responsibilities include: Lead project activities and collaborate with industry actors to design and implement activities aimed at increasing competitiveness and revenues in foreign and local markets; Attract investment to the Moldovan furniture industry; Foster relationships with private enterprises, industry organizations, and official bodies that influence industry structure and competitiveness; Analyze industry economic trends and adapt project activities accordingly. QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced degree in industrial engineering, economics, business, marketing, or a related discipline. Minimum three years of professional experience in furniture or related industries. Project management experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various industry actors. Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity. Fluency in English, Romanian, and Russian strongly preferred.
