Job Objective
Responsible for supporting and enhancing the different software applications currently in use by the bank. Also responsible for bridging between users and vendor where there is a software services outsourced agreement.
Key Responsibilities
Support, maintain and document business applications functionality
Develop / Debug software applications in .Net Framework
Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, software reliability analysis
Create / Maintain data model and database procedures
Investigate, Analyze and Document reported defects
Front end graphical user interface design, and HTML & CSS fixation
Software unit testing
Configure Windows/Linux OS environments Salary: Negotiable
Benefits:
The individual will be entitled for Medical facilities (within limits) including Outpatient Treatment / Medical Allowance, Inpatient Treatment, Insurance cover for maternity for self/spouse, Group Life & Accident Insurance, Annual Leave and Gratuity.
Skills Required:
Educational Qualification
Minimum Bachelors in Information Technology or in Computer Science with emphasis on Software Development from a reputable university.
Duration and Nature of Previous Experience
Should have 2 - 3 years experience in positions in a similar environment.
Essential Skills
- Hands on experience with .Net Framework, MS SQL 2000/2005 and Windows/Linux OS environments
- Demonstrable Software Development experience
- Knowledge of database architecture and design
- Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
- Object-Oriented Analysis & Design skills
- Flexible and Positive attitude, ability to perform under pressure
- Team player and ability to work well within a team
- Certification in .Net and SQL Server preferred but not mandatory
- Experience with the creation of database objects such as tables, index, etc
